All standard ENT operations are conducted in the Clinic of Leech. The principal objective and direction of the head and neck operations are the following surgical methods:
Endoscopic, endonasal operations in the sinus in case of chronic illnesses of the air cells (polypus). Patients with a recurrent infection of the sinus, a headache, secretion and chronic ear, throat and lungs diseases are subject to the above-mentioned. Areas of the damaged mucus membrane are excised by the minimum invasive method with an endoscope through the nose in the accessory sinuses of the nose. Such procedures are conducted under general anesthesia and are less stress-inducing for a patient. The damaged mucus membrane may be replaced through a radical operation practically in full.
Functional and esthetic correction of the nose. This kind of operations can be applied not only for cosmetic purposes, but also to recover physiological functions of the nose and the nasal breathing. In case of snoring or panting during the sleep, the conduct of an operation to change velamen may be useful. The microsurgery of the middle part of the ear and the gorge may be conductive to the surgical treatment of patients with chronic ear diseases and changes in the vocal chords (polypus, tumors).
The operations to improve the voice (phonosurgery) allow us to ensure wide recovery of the voice or its change by the gorge correction or with vocal chords implants. Standard ENT operations such as tonsillectomy, adenoidectomy and others are also conducted in our Clinic. To take all of the above-said measures, the highly skilled team of medical officers operates, who are specially trained in the ENT surgery, and the attendants as well. Treatment of tinnitus and diseases associated with dizziness is conducted by the conservative method.
