The Spine Center offers a full range of spinal surgeries, especially revision surgeries. We consider the opening of the Spine Center in Klinik Birshof to be an extremely important event. This Center offers a comprehensive treatment of spinal disorders in the region. The long-term goal is an integrated diagnosis and treatment of spinal disorders. Close collaboration with well-known specialists from related areas (e.g., neurology, rheumatology, neurosurgery, orthopedic spinal surgery) allows reducing the cost of treatment and improve its quality. Patient monitoring is carried out personally by the attending medical doctor of the Center. Such treatment continuity is maintained during hospitalization and thereafter until the end of the treatment. In our Center, patients can get advice regarding lifestyle favorable for the spine. The staff in our Center makes sure to work closely with colleagues in private practice, making the treatment of spinal pain very effective.
Spinal disorders can be caused by many factors: weak back muscles, sedentary lifestyle, improper physical exertion, infections, and so on. In our center, qualified specialists deal with the following problems:

The staff will take care of your cut flowers. Potted plants are not allowed for reasons of hygiene.
Please note that smoking in public areas and patient rooms (including balconies) is prohibited.
The clinic offers single and double rooms. If you choose a single room, an accompanying person will be able to stay with you. A double room is shared with a patient of the same gender.
The enhanced comfort rooms are equipped with a safety box, a fridge and upholstered furniture.

The patient and the accompanying person are offered a daily choice of three menus. If you are on a specific diet for any reason, you will be offered an individual menu. Please inform the medical staff about your dietary preferences prior to the treatment.
