The Spine Center offers a full range of spinal surgeries, especially revision surgeries. We consider the opening of the Spine Center in Klinik Birshof to be an extremely important event. This Center offers a comprehensive treatment of spinal disorders in the region. The long-term goal is an integrated diagnosis and treatment of spinal disorders. Close collaboration with well-known specialists from related areas (e.g., neurology, rheumatology, neurosurgery, orthopedic spinal surgery) allows reducing the cost of treatment and improve its quality. Patient monitoring is carried out personally by the attending medical doctor of the Center. Such treatment continuity is maintained during hospitalization and thereafter until the end of the treatment. In our Center, patients can get advice regarding lifestyle favorable for the spine. The staff in our Center makes sure to work closely with colleagues in private practice, making the treatment of spinal pain very effective.
Spinal disorders can be caused by many factors: weak back muscles, sedentary lifestyle, improper physical exertion, infections, and so on. In our center, qualified specialists deal with the following problems:
- Osteoporotic fractures
- Spinal stenosis
- Spondylogenic diseases
- Discogenic diseases
- Spinal disc herniation
- Instability
- Post-traumatic conditions and pain conditions after the spinal surgery
The center also offers invasive treatment of pain and neurostimulation.
Spinal surgeries in our center are performed only by the most experienced experts using advanced equipment. Particular attention is paid to minimally invasive procedures that reduce postoperative pain and allow shortening the hospitalization period.
