Diseases of stomach and other digestive organs are the most common reasons that cause a person to make an appointment with a doctor. Gastroenterology is the area of medicine engaged in the diagnosis and treatment of diseases of the gastrointestinal tract, liver and gallbladder. Our goal is early diagnosis and appropriate treatment of diseases using modern technologies.
Gastroenterology is a highly developed branch of medicine that can offer a large number of methods to cure many diseases of stomach and other digestive organs. The examinations involving advanced technologies enable to assess the condition of the esophagus, entire stomach and duodenum. During these examinations, for example, the causes of heartburn and acid regurgitation can be established, the tissues samples may be taken, or the status of Helicobacter pylori can be determined. If possible, the whole colon and a short segment of the small intestine are examined. Among other things, our medical center can establish the presence of pathological changes in the mucous membranes of the colon or polyps. Depending on the results, the polyps are removed or tissue samples are taken. This examination also covers the assessment of the skin of the anus and anal canal. We can also offer the treatment for hemorrhoids, assess anal eczema and determine the causes of fecal incontinence.
